The Laughter Lounge is proud to announce that stand-up comedian, actor and writer, Tom Allen will be performing at its venue for three nights only, from July 23rd to 25th 2015.

In 2005, Tom won the coveted “So You Think You’re Funny?” competition in Edinburgh and went on to win the “BBC New Comedy” Award later that year. He now performs his unique brand of stand-up across the UK and worldwide: from Dave’s Leicester Comedy Festival to Brighton Fringe, onto the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the Sydney Comedy Festival.

As a presenter, he has hosted “World’s Greatest Bodyshockers” on E4. He has also reported for BBC2’s “The Review Show”, “Big Brother’s Big Mouth” and covered the British Fashion Awards for Net-A-Porter, where he interviewed Christopher Kane, Olivia Palermo and Victoria Beckham.

As an actor, he guest-starred in the most recent series of Comedy Central’s “Threesome” and has also appeared in the BBC’s “Sensitive Skin” and “Fear of Fanny”, as well as popping up as a voice for one of E4’s “Bad Robots”. His film credits include “Colour Me Kubrick” with John Malkovich, “Starter for Ten” with James McEvoy and the Stephen Frears’ film, “Tamara Drewe”.

Giving the tradition of camp comedy a firmly 21st century twist, these shows will make for three nights of understated mayhem, with Tom ready to weave for you a night of unforgettable, wonderful wittiness!
